WELCOME TO THE ASAHI GROUP INTL CORP
The Asahi Company Ltd., with its humble beginning, has thrived through the 80’s and 90’s to become a diversified group of companies in Japan as well as Sri Lanka, Botswana, Uganda and Philippines.
Our history began in 1988 when our founder Ahamed Mohamed Mohamed Nuhuman started a small vehicle buying and selling business. Over the years hardworking with his brothers, Ahamed Mohamed Mohamed Hussain and Ahamed Mohamed Mohamed Hasan, the Asahi Company Ltd. began to spread from many more companies in many countries of the world in motor vehicle business.
In particular, our firm establishment away from Japan is the Ganga Traders in Sri Lanka in 1998 then Fuji Lanka Private Ltd. Subsequently, we started up to motor vehicle spare parts with the name Fuji Corporation, one of the biggest importers of used motor vehicle spare parts in Sri Lanka.
In 2001, our establishment started car sales in Botswana under the name of Zaweeka. After previous consideration, we entered into the Philippine Market on 2006 under the registered company name EMS CORPORATION, one of the biggest used car locator inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
In 2011, we have also entered Trucks business with our new registered company name Asahi Group Int’l. Corporation. As of today, Asahi Group Int’l. Corp. has now become more progressive and now become the no. 1 importer of many kinds of used vehicles and trucks inside SBMA (Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority).
Over 35 years with this kind of industry, we have made our business grow bigger and evolved as much as we anticipated, from Sri Lanka unto many parts of the world. We do hope that this success will continue and we can still build many more establishments on other many parts of the world.
